THE COVID-19 STORIES

In Italy, working on the pandemia between February and June 2020

In the first five months of Covid-19, from February to June 2020, together with the photographers of Parallelozero I worked mainly in northern Italy telling stories inspired by the pandemic. Logistics, virus management, life at home, distance learning, but also economic impact, production of oxygen, search for a summer outlet after the darkness of the winter and spring months. Here below you can see a selection of images from these reports. Many of these photographs have been published in Italian and international magazines. Together with Parallelozero the reports on the Covid-19 has become a project (CoviDiaries, soundtrack by Casino Royale) and an exhibition in October 2020: FOTOGRAFICA, the Bergamo Photography Festival, in Bergamo, the Italian city most affected by the pandemic, exhibited along Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the beating heart of the city, and the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital, a nationally recognised symbol of the fight against Covid-19.
